Dan Holt, Dan McCoy, and Michael Sean McDonald Songwriters in the Round: an evening of stories and songs from three of Clevelands finest singer/songwriters. In a career that spans over twenty-five years and a dozen albums, Dan Holt has performed his brand of roots and blues music all around Cleveland and nationally. His songwriting combines a variety of styles from classic blues to folk to rock and everything in between. Dan McCoys style recalls classic songwriters such as Jackson Browne, Tom Petty, and Bruce Springsteen while invoking an individual spirit that is all his own. His dynamic performances and song-craft have earned him a well-deserved following as well as the respect of his peers. Michael Sean McDonalds music is filled with toe-tapping blues and heartfelt ballads that cover the full spectrum of the human experience. The characters and situations he sings about articulate human nature from a deeply personal perspective that is at once emotionally evocative and compellingly philosophical. These three distinct and dynamic songwriters come together for an evening of original, Cleveland based, music that you wont want to miss.
