Local gigs, not just the ticketed ones

Ticketing services and event feeds cover the big rooms. We also read what venues publish themselves — the calendar page a pub or a brewery keeps for its own regulars.

That is where the free and unticketed shows live, when they are written down anywhere at all. Reading those pages is slow and earns us nothing directly. It is also the part that makes the site worth using.

One town, one week: beside the ticketed concerts, a Tuesday jazz night at the pub, an open mic at the general store, a Friday residency at the riverside lodge, and a free blues jam at the brewery — each with a start time and a street address, so you can decide at six and be there by eight.

This is who we built it for. Locals know the rooms; a visitor does not, and the best night in a strange town is usually the one nobody put on a poster. Type the town before you get there, or the moment you land. Every show carries its start time and its street address, so you can pick one near where you are staying — or pick the show first and stay near it.

We would rather list your shows correctly than approximately. If something is wrong, missing, or you would prefer not to be listed at all, email us and we will fix it — there is nothing to pay and nothing to sign up for.

Listings are gathered and read by software, so mistakes happen. Tell us and we will fix it. And check with the venue before you set off — bands cancel, and doors move.
