Every gig, not just the ticketed ones
Most event sites can only show you shows they can sell you a ticket for. That is a reasonable business, but it means the gig at the brewery down the road, the Tuesday open mic and the free set in the corner of a pub are invisible — and those are often the best night out available.
How we find shows other sites miss
We pull from ticketing services and event indexes like everyone else. The difference is that we also read venues' own websites — the calendar page a pub keeps for itself, which no ticketing API knows about.
That is where the free and unticketed shows live. Reading them is slower and harder than calling an API, and it earns us nothing directly, which is presumably why nobody else bothers.
What that looks like in practice
In one town we tested, ticketing sources knew about a handful of concerts. Reading local venues' own pages found ten times as many venues and dozens of extra shows — bar gigs, brewery sets and free nights that existed nowhere else we could find.
How we pay for it
If you buy a ticket through a link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is it — no subscription, no paywall, no account to create.
Commission never changes what we show or the order we show it. Most of what makes this site useful cannot pay us anything, and ranking by revenue would quietly delete exactly the listings we built it for. Full detail in our terms.
If you run a venue
We would rather list your shows correctly than approximately. If something is wrong, missing, or you would prefer not to be listed at all, email us and we will fix it — there is nothing to pay and nothing to sign up for.
