FITZGERALDS SIDEBAR PRESENTS: THE ANDY BROWN TRIO! (w/ Greg Fishman on tenor saxophone and Jake Vinsel on bass) Andy Brown is a musician based in Chicago who specializes in what he calls , "rdquo" -> old-school jazz guitar." Howard Reich in the Chicago Tribune called him "One of Chicago's most appealing jazz guitarists...uncounted Chicago jazz artists have collaborated with Brown on club dates and recording sessions, and they know better than anyone the depth of his work and unpretentiousness of his manner...for all his easy going virtuosity, he places the emphasis on musical phrase rather than pyrotechnics." Andy has made many festival appearances around the world including performances in Brazil, Europe and Canada. His latest CD is the critically acclaimed 2023 album Good Atmosphere. In this trio setting he'll be joined by two Chicago jazz veterans on bass and drums. FREE SHOW!
